The Muscovite Plot: A Short Story
Part of The Kaiser's Machines Timeline.
Leon Trotsky, General Secretary of the Communist Party and Premier of the Soviet Union, has always been a believer in world revolution. In the wake of the Great World Patriotic War, many nations across Europe were poised for a workers' uprising. Germany was just the first major domino to fall.
After the Machine Scandal and the ensuing Winter Uprising, Berlin fell to an alliance of angry German workers and disillusioned veterans. At least that's how it appeared to the world. But that victory was incomplete. The Munich Uprising failed, and Bavaria has now created a breakaway state that risks undermining the new communist government in Berlin.
Determined to use Germany as a key ally in achieving world revolution, Trotsky has decided to take matters into his own hands.
